DSV singed but still going strong. Dang! This stuff is tougher than I thought...

A big patch of DSV was burned on the DVP slope beside the big stone bridge in spring about 7 years ago. It happened before the DSV was growing yet, and the plant wasn't affected. DSV is from southern Ukraine where it probably evolved with natural prairie/savanna fires.
